I have always been fascinated by studio spaces…
Places where creative people create…
I have my own studio now where I design custom interiors but growing up the art studio of my Uncle, Peter Etril Snyder was where I first fell captive to the lure of such a space…
I loved to go in and see what he had pinned up around the room.
The brushes, tubes of paint, art supplies in general and the beautiful reference books!…
Paintings leaning up against the walls waiting for their next moment on the easel…
It all fascinated me!
Watching him paint was… Hypnotic, I always felt like I was watching a magician conjuring up a magical colourful dream.
Pete has written about his process on his website.

Recently I was emailing him and he sent me a progressive view of a current piece he is working on. I asked him if I could share it here on the blog and he graciously agreed!
