Winter has arrived to BannockBurn 1878…

January 13, 2016 by Cynthia Filed Under: BannockBurn

Oh the weather outside is frightful…
Sing along won’t you!!

The Herb Garden in Winter...

Yes, winter has finally arrived and with it came the winds and blowing snow…

We have been huddled up for a few days working in the studio on upcoming client projects and tackling some little fix ups around the house.

If I have learned anything from living in an old home it is that the upkeep is constant. As soon as on thing is tackled  another is added to the list!!

Yesterday the blowing snow made everything feel completely closed in… To see a video taken from the back porch give a click!

It is much calmer today… shovelling and a walk through the bush this morning were a welcome change.

I love coming out the end of the trail and seeing the barn.

For any of you who also live in old drafty houses…

Perhaps you can relate?

It was snowing inside the foyer yesterday so although a pathetic fix this painters tape has proven quite effective!

Another addition to the list!!!

For the rest of the day I will be cooking up a storm.

After all…

Cold weather equals comfort food Don’t you think!!

Have a cozy night!
